So Thankful

I absolutely love Thanksgiving. Next to Christmas it is my favorite time of year. I love going to my grandparents and eating my Grandmomma's dressing and broccoli and cheese. I also love having time of from school to be with my family. It is pure craziness since we are always going but I LOVE it! I have so many things that I am thankful for this year. My mom and sister are one of the things I am most thankful for. We have a blast together. Both were wonderful during my recovery of the surgery. My mom has been my LIFE SAVER for the last year. Thanks ladies. You both ROCK! Chris is the BEST! There are not enough words to describe him. He is the most amazing daddy to our girls. It makes me so happy and giddy when I see how they are around him. Kyli and Kenna adore him and thinks that he is the BEST ever. I am so grateful for him. He showed how much he truly loved me when he stayed in ICU all night and the hospital for 3 days with me. He was an awesome doctor once we got home. He woke me up every couple of hours to give me meds and get me comfy again with a new ice pack. I fell in love with him all over again because of this. It is amazing how something so scarey can make you have a stronger marriage.

My Girls! They complete me!
Most importantly, I am so thankful for God's healing hands. I will forever stand by my God. I am 100% that this surgery was succesful because he is the one that is in control. He led the nuerosurgeons and by his grace I am a new person.
I love that I drive and watch tv with both eyes open. I love that I don't have headaches all the time, especially at work. I love that I don't run into doors all the time.
I am so thankful that I am doing SO much better than this time last year. Last year, emotions were wild! Thank you God for giving me the faith to go through this surgery.
Our GOD is awesome!

  4. Sandi, you knew this was gonna make me cry!! I feel like I am the one that is blessed. My kids and grandkids light up my life. You are right, God pulled you right thru that surgery & you never looked back. You are one tuff cookie! Last year during the holidays was the worse time of my life except for when we lost Sis. From the time we found out about your problem I always thought maybe I did something during pregnancy to cause your problem. I had to put it all in God's hands and he came thru as always! All my kids are so blessed to have such wonderful families. I thank God everyday for his blessings!
