Spartan Race at Reville Peak Ranch

This past weekend Chris and I spent our weekend working at the Spartan Race. It was so awesome meeting people from all over the US. The girls came out and ran the Kids Spartan.

Praying for all those that are affected by the tornadoes. So sad! Today at school we were on lockdown. It was unexpected. I have never in my life been so scared. It is crazy how your adrenalin kicks in. We were in the hall when my teaching partner yelled at me that we were in lockdown. I ran into both bathrooms and gathered all my kids. They were awesome. They ran into the class and huddled down like they have been trained. I ran to my desk to grab my keys and locked my door. We all stayed in the corner of my room with lights off. No one moved. One boy asked me if it was for real. I knew they were scared because they were silent. I told them that sometimes that we have to have a lockdown with no warnings so we can practice. My heart was racing, I was praying and then peace filled me when I knew if something did happen I knew where I was going. About 10 minutes after it started we got the ok that all was clear. I just assumed someone was on my campus with a gun. There was a man on the street with a knife and possibly armed. The police were not sure where he was headed so they called our school and put us on lockdown. Praise God! Have a blessed week!

Kyli's 10th Birthday

I can't believe my baby is 10. How can time fly so fast. I don't like it!!!!!!

 While Kyli celebrated her bday at school, KB had movie day. We watched Finding Nemo. 

 Since she had cupcakes at lunch we just had ice cream for her to blow out candles. Her big celebration is next week. We are having a couple girls stay the night and a swim party.

I wish my babies were still little. They were so cute. Although, it is so much easier now that they are older.
It is a very busy month. Birthdays, Mother's Day, Spartan Race, Basketball tourneys, graduations, etc. I am counting down the days until Chris and I go to the Grand Cayman Islands. I can not wait. We have been so busy since he has been back from Virginia that we have not even had a date. So they beach and a drink are calling our names. Have a blessed day!

Weekend Recap

This weekend we had a basketball tourney in Georgetown. We got killed every game. This is the first year of Bomber Basketball. We have lots to learn. We had so much fun!!! In between games we shopped, ate and had lots of fun!!!

Little Bit of Nothing

We have been extremely busy between work and running the girls around to soccer and basketball. The countdown is on till summer. I can't wait just to relax in my Nike shorts and tshirts all day. AND lay out in the pool. 

Raider got a much needed haircut today. 

I teach 1st grade with two partners. We all teach guided reading and then I teach 3 classes of math. It has been my 2nd year to teach this way and I LOVE it. Today in my class we played Jeopardy. This was the Daily Double Question. My principal got a kick out of this question!!

I absolutely love this class. They are so sweet and precious. They have awesome parents too!

For two weeks I have had awful allergies. Last week it was so bad I went to the doctor twice. My eyes were so red and itchy!!!
