First Day of School

Kyli's 1st day of 2nd grade

My girls are so precious. I love all the comments how one kid looks just like me and the other just like Chris. We hear that comment all the time. it is so funny.

I went to see Dr. Kemper yesterday for a check up. He read both my mri on spine and brain and everything looked great. I no longer have to go back to him unless problems arise. This has been an amazing 8 months of healing. It is like I have a new set of eyes. I don't know I did it for so long. Chris and I were just talking the other night how it has been a long time since I ran into a door jam. It's been a while since I have stumbled over my own two feet. It's been about 5 months now that I can watch tv, drive, and watch with both eyes open . I even drive at night now with no problems. It's been a while since I have headaches in the back of my head. Wow! Time is a good thing! It has also taught me some patience.

God is so awesome! I give Him all the glory!

After 12 long days, Chris is home. We are all so excited. Even Ty and Deats are pumped.

After pool time, we ate sushi and went and had yougurt. Yummy! This has been the longest 12 days of my life. God is awesome. On Wednesday I got a phone call saying that I should expect Chris to be delayed. I had a meltdown. That night I got on my hands and knees and prayed to God and asking him to bring Chris home to me safely and on time. Friday morning I got a phone call saying that he would be on time. Praise God once again! It is amazing how God works if we just give it all to Him.

Missing the Hubs

Alot has gone on the last week and a half. Chris has been gone for 8 days and we are not for sure when he is coming home. He is working. I miss him terribly! It has been so hard going back to school with him not around. Kyli and Kenna miss him as well. My sister is going to come stay with me this weekend. We will eat and get a pedi. Can't wait. I need a pedi.

Mimi and Pawpaw's House

On Sunday we went to Mimi and Pawpaw's house. We ate a lot, fished and kayaked. Lots of fun!

Chris moved out to this place when he was in 4th grade. Mary and Marshall have put the house on the market so they can move to Fredericksburg. We have made so many memories at this place. It is so sad to sell it but we also love Fredericksburg. I am so blessed to have such wonderful in-laws. God has blessed me so much with a wonderful husband and family!

Chris left today for 12 days. I am so sad! This is the longest we have been apart. I have already started counting down the days. It will be very hard especially since I go back to work on Monday. Boo Hoo! Only 4 more days of "Summer of Sandi."

On Saturday, Shay came over and we laid out in the sun. Her inlaws had the kids so it was awesome. Then we headed to Jardin's were Sandy meet us.

"Summer of Sandi" is almost over! BOO HOO!
Chris is leaving tomorrow for 10 days, my mom is going on vacay and that leaves me with NO help while I go back to work. Ugh! Brandi will keep them because she owes me BIG time. Ha! I may see if Mimi and Pawpaw can help out also.

Actually, I am kind of ready to get back into a routine. I HATE getting up at 5:30 in the morning and most of all HATE fixing my hair. I live in a visor all summer and on the weekends during school.
