Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday Nanis
mom's birthday fell on Thanksgiving day this year so we decided to celebrate a day early. All the grandkids went to Nanis house and threw her a party. It is pure chaos when all the kids are together but one day we will miss these wild little yaloos!

My grandparents had 6 kids. Aunt Sis went to Heaven 10 years ago. We still miss her dearly. They have 17 grandkids and 29 great grandkids. My granddad wants one more to make it 30. Isn't that crazy?
Tomorrow we are headed to Fredericksburg for the weekend. Chris' parents moved to Fred about 6 weeks ago and his Granny and Granpa have lived there for many years. We love Fredericksburg!

So Thankful

I absolutely love Thanksgiving. Next to Christmas it is my favorite time of year. I love going to my grandparents and eating my Grandmomma's dressing and broccoli and cheese. I also love having time of from school to be with my family. It is pure craziness since we are always going but I LOVE it! I have so many things that I am thankful for this year. My mom and sister are one of the things I am most thankful for. We have a blast together. Both were wonderful during my recovery of the surgery. My mom has been my LIFE SAVER for the last year. Thanks ladies. You both ROCK! Chris is the BEST! There are not enough words to describe him. He is the most amazing daddy to our girls. It makes me so happy and giddy when I see how they are around him. Kyli and Kenna adore him and thinks that he is the BEST ever. I am so grateful for him. He showed how much he truly loved me when he stayed in ICU all night and the hospital for 3 days with me. He was an awesome doctor once we got home. He woke me up every couple of hours to give me meds and get me comfy again with a new ice pack. I fell in love with him all over again because of this. It is amazing how something so scarey can make you have a stronger marriage.

My Girls! They complete me!
Most importantly, I am so thankful for God's healing hands. I will forever stand by my God. I am 100% that this surgery was succesful because he is the one that is in control. He led the nuerosurgeons and by his grace I am a new person.
I love that I drive and watch tv with both eyes open. I love that I don't have headaches all the time, especially at work. I love that I don't run into doors all the time.
I am so thankful that I am doing SO much better than this time last year. Last year, emotions were wild! Thank you God for giving me the faith to go through this surgery.
Our GOD is awesome!

Kyli's First Deer

Woo Hoo! Chris and Kyli went on a youth deer hunt in Lampasas on Sunday. It was her first time to hunt. Chris and Kyli had been practicing shooting the gun so she felt pretty confident. When she shot the deer and it fell she started jumping up and down and yelling, "I killed my 1st deer." So cute!
The most important thing is that we will now have a lot of meat. Our deer meat supply is low so I am so pumped. Only 5 more days of school until Thanksgiving break. I can't wait. Woo Hoo!
I took Kenna to the doctor today and she has strep and an ear infection. Boo Hoo! My poor little girls. Kyli had strep last week. I would love to take off from work but tomorrow it is Family Day at my school and I have tooooooo many things to do. BOO!
Have a great week!

Our First Thanksgiving

Our family was complete on March 30, 2006 when Kenna was born. The following pics are of the First Thanksgiving in the pumpkin patch. I ran across the pics and they melted my heart. My babies are growing way too fast!

These girls complete my life. I have an awesome hubby and God is so mighty to give me these two wonderful pumpkins. It is Thanksgiving time again and this year is a very special year to me. Many blessings have happened in our little family. Thank you God!

What a Day!

Last Friday the second graders went on a field trip to Sweet Berry Farms. I took a day off from school and went with Kyli. Mom and Kenna went too. It was a lot of fun. My Little Pumpkins

Makenna, Madison and Kyli
Makenna and madison were in my class last year. I would give anything to have that class back. Every single one of them were perfect little angels and special gifts from God. In 11 years of teaching it was the best class ever

Ready to leave and go shopping!!!!
What a day! Around 12:30 we left and headed to Brandi's in Cedar Park to go shopping. A babysitter kept the kids and mom, Brandi and I shopped all evening and ate at Olive Gardent. So much fun but extremely exhausted. We didn't get home until 10:00. Then Saturday we left and headed back to CP for Nate's football game. He is a stud.
I can't wait until Thanksgiving to have a couple days off! I am so ready to rest. Although not much resting will be happening over Thanksgiving.
Before we know it, it will be Christmas break! Woo Hoo! I will be jumping for joy!

Chris booked our trip to Belize. Woo Hoo!
It is opening weekend of deer season and Chris didn't get a deer today. BooHoo! Hopefully he will get one in the next couple of days.
Have a great weekend!
